In addition to art and literature, Joe is also an accomplished jazz/fusion musician, and the author of two books on Jazz Improvisation, as well as two CDs: Native Recipes and I'm The Guy!.

A long-time professional software engineer, Joe leverages his background in the sciences to bring additional veracity to his stories. He has recently retired from software development to devote full time to his writing, musical, and artistic pursuits.
